In 2001 I have travelled through Bolivia and Peru for 6 weeks together with a friend. In Peru we undertook the four-day Inca trail to the magnificent Machu Picchu and we visited all the important Inca and pre Inca locations and the big cities with a lot of colonial buildings (Cuzco, Sacsaywaman, Pisac, Nazca, Lima, ...). It was a fascinating introduction to the Inca culture.
