Dovrefjell - Muskox calf (Norway)

This muskox calf is estimated to be around 4 to 5 months old. During the first few months, they grow remarkably fast. They're born with a thick coat that protects them from the cold, and within hours they must be able to walk to keep up with the herd. They rely heavily on their mother and the protection of the group.
