The golden eagle (Aquila chrysaetos) catches the rabbit skin. When diving after prey a golden eagle can reach spectacular speeds of up to 240 to 300 kilometres per hour. The eyes of the eagle are eight times sharper than those of humans. The birds weigh 6kg to 7kg and their wingspan is almost 2 meters.
