Banjara woman The Banjara or Lambani are nomadic are the largest gypsy group in India. The women make intricately embroidered colourful clothes with pieces of mirror, decorative beads and old coins.  They also wear ornate jewellery and some of them have tattoos. I photographed some Banjara women on different locations in the state of Karnataka in southern India. Stefan Cruysberghs
