Gran Paradiso NP - Bearded vulture (Gran Paradiso)

Only a small population of bearded vultures lives in Gran Paradiso, so spotting one is always a matter of luck. We were fortunate: several times we saw a bearded vulture soaring high above the valley, its huge wings and distinctive silhouette clearly visible
