We encountered the kings of the Alps several times: the Alpine ibex (Capra ibex). On the steep rock faces and open alpine meadows, you often see them grazing in small groups. They are perfectly adapted to the rugged terrain and are phenomenal climbers. On our third day, we stood very close to a small group of two adults and three young animals on a snowy mountainside, with the valley in the background. A blissful moment that also resulted in beautiful images
