Farasuto - African pygmy kingfisher (The Gambia)

The African Pygmy Kingfisher is the smallest kingfisher in Africa. This stunning little bird is about 12 cm in size and weighs only 9 to 16 grams. It primarily lives in forests and feeds on insects, small frogs, and geckos.
