Kotu - Northern white-faced owl (The Gambia)

Kotu is the place-to-be along the coast for many tourists, with beautiful palm beaches and plenty of hotels and resorts. However, the Kotu Bridge, with its mangroves and surrounding rice fields, is also a true haven for bird enthusiasts. We were able to spot two owl species there, including the Northern White-faced Owl (Ptilopsis leucotis).
