South Luangwa - Crocodiles with killed puku Our second morning in South Luangwa ended with some great and unique action. Near the riverbanks we found a float of crocodiles eating an adult male puku (antelope). The puku was probably killed by a leopard at night and the leopard waited too long to drag its prey into the bushes. Crocodiles that have a very good sense of smell were able to conquer the killed puku. It was very impressive to see the crocodiles ripping off and swallowing chunks of flesh. They were also twisting their bodies to tear off large pieces of meat. Stefan Cruysberghs
