Teotihuacan - Pyramid of the sun (Mexico)
Teotihuacan lies north of Mexico City and not much is known about the city and its inhabitants. This pre-Columbian Mesoamerican city has two very large pyramids and several palaces. The city is thought to have been established around 100 BC and continued to be built until about 700 AD. At its peak it had about 150,000 inhabitants. The pyramid of the sun is 65m high.
