Lake Turkana - Turkana woman The Turkana is a large tribe that still lives quite traditionally. They are mainly semi-nomadic pastoralists. Women often have a Mohawk hairstyle and they wear many colorful necklaces and bracelets of beads. Married women are identified by the aluminium earrings in the shape of a leaf.
