Kabini - Indian roller (India south)
We also went three days on safari in the beautiful Kabini region of Nagarhole national park in the state of Karnataka. We saw lots of monkeys, deer, elephants, gaurs, crocodiles, flying foxes, woodpeckers and a tigress. A common but very colourful bird is the Indian roller (Coracias benghalensis).
