New features on SCIP.be

My personal website SCIP.be has been updated and now it offers several new features and improvements. This page will summarize these briefly. All images for articles, photo galleries, ... are redrawn and increased in size. Therefore all information should be visually more distinct and attractive.

All photo galleries have a new option called CoolIris. CoolIris is a great browser plugin which allows you to navigate fast through photo galleries in 3D. Viewing photos now gets a new and better experience. Each photo page supports Media RSS feeds so my photos are available for browser plugins and Vista Sidebar gadgets.

From now on all articles will be linked to several categories. These categories, and the number of articles, will be listed on the left side. Visitors will be able to find the articles in which they are interested much faster. The simple list view has been replaced and all articles will be displayed with an image, a full description, date, language and categories.

A few months ago I also made an improvement at the footer of each page. Now there is integration with the Add-To-Any services so you can easily save or share my webpages via Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Delicious, StumbleUpon, Live Favorites, Google Bookmarks, ...

Finally internal improvements will speed up the overall experience of my website.
